Giving something more…

Recently I have been working on a new project which is quite simple (if I may say so) on rules, function ,and procedures, but with such an interface that rips your head apart, grabs a spoon, and starts eating your brain!

I mean, the Interface sucks! You just don’t understand how to use it, unless you ask! What’s the point in designing a system for your customers to use, if they’ll be nagging and phoning and asking about everything to you for the next twenty years? To give you some description of the system, try this: You got a text field in which you are supposed to fill with an item code, to see the item’s detailed description. But you don’t know the Item Code! And there’s no way to find out! Now, can you just tell me how to use this page here? No? Good! Free time for me, it seems… Jeez! The more annoying it gets to me is when I asked the LEAD PROGRAMMER of the system about this, he answered me with a-matter-of-fact attitude: "We are simply re-making an older system they have with a new one. Replicating what they have to retain familiarity." Oh MY GOD! What’s the point in creating a new system when the new one is perfectly the same with the older system, only using a different programming language?

Gods, my point is, try to give something more to those who trust you to do things for them. Either it’s a friend asking for help, an employer giving you a task, a lover looking for some affectionate action from you, give it to them MORE than they’ll expect it to be! Always place yourseves in their  shoes and imagine what you’ll feel if you were given something more than what you asked. Wouldn’t it be great? Wouldn’t you feel good? Happy? Exhilarated?

For now on, I wish that we can always do something more to those around us, even a mere "Thank You" is enough for someone. And one more thing, DON’T - I MEAN, NEVER ANSWER AN IMPORTANT QUESTION WITH A STRAIGHT FACE, WITHOUT TRYING TO UNDERSTAND WHAT THE QUESTION REALLY MEAN, AND ANSWERING WITH AN ATTITUDE LIKE THE QUESTION IS STUPID! You might get a punch on the face for it!

hahahaha, that’s the world dude… full of egoistic people thinking only about themself.
and we who have counciousness have to wake up those sleepy people who are manipulated by their “I”’s and “Me”’s.
but look around, aren’t we all egoistic?
isnt’ evry1 thinkin’ only about themselves (grrr… this themself, themselves is cracking my brain, can’t figure out which one is right…)
